It is the aluminum oxide. The monocrystal sapphire which is produced for the industry is also called sapphire glass and has a high hardness and is used not only for the surface cover of the watch and bearings but also the window of the airplane, bar-code reader and the view port of the semiconductor equipment. Also it is used as the substrate for the manufacturing of the semiconductor and LED because of the excellent properties for the insulation and thermal conductivity.

5. Ceramics products
a) Silicon Carbide(SiC)
It is the compound of the carbon and silicon. It has a good thermal conductivity and wear resistance. In addition, it also has very good hardness which is the next of the diamond and then, used for the whetstone and polishing fabric as the abrasive. And, so far, it is used as the heating element, varistor and arrester as the electric element material but recently, also used for all kinds of the diode and MOSFET as the semiconductor material.
We provide the thermal components of the diffusion and LP-CVD equipment like wafer boats and process tubes, also chucks and rings to support the silicon wafers for the etching equipment at the semiconductor manufacturing.
b) Silicon Nitride(SiN)
Silicon Nitride is non-oxide ceramics which has a good thermal conductivity and mechanical property. Silicon Nitride parts is light, good strength for high temperature, a good fracture toughness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance. Then, will be used in the wide markets like the automotive engine parts, electronics parts, industrial mechanical parts and so on.
We provide the fine-ceramics parts and the engineering ceramics parts which are made by the unique molding methods like CIP, Slip-casing, Extrusion and so on. Ex. Automotive engine parts, Gas-turbine parts, Bearing balls, Cutting tools, High temperature isolation parts, Corrosion resistance parts and Wear resistance parts.
c) Boron Nitride(BN)
It is the compound which consists of Boron and Nitrogen. Because of the high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient, BN has the best thermal shock resistance among the ceramics and will not be broken even cooled down quickly from 1,500℃. And also, it has the electric insulation and easy to machine because of very soft material. So, it is called as the machinable ceramics. The applications are the lubricant and release agent.
We will do the hot-press or atmospheric sintering by using a sintering additive to make and provide the parts like crucible for the compound semiconductor manufacturing, insulator for ion implanter for the semiconductor manufacturing and the heat-sink for the electronics parts. Also can provide a fine powder for the cosmetic.

e) Aluminum Oxide(Al203)
It is called as Alumina generally and used as the raw material for the metal aluminum normally. However, it has good properties for the hardness, high temperature melting point and electrical isolation. So, also used as the abrasive, refractory, insulators, electric parts and precision machined parts.
We provide all from small parts like pins and rings for the semiconductor equipment to the large parts like a base of LCD equipment.
f) Zirconium Oxide(ZrO2)
Usually, Zirconium will be broken by repeating of the temperature up and down. When the oxides like Calcium oxide, Magnesium oxide, Yttrium and so on is dissolved in Zirconium, it becomes to be stable and can control a broken. The Zirconium which is dissolved an oxide (called as the stabilizer) is called as “ Stabilized Zirconia” or “Partially Stabilized Zirconia”. The Stabilized Zirconia has an excellent mechanical strength and fracture toughness. However, the Partially Stabilized Zirconia which can metamorphose a bit by decreasing the amount of an oxide has much better mechanical strength than the Perfect Stabilized Zirconia which is restrained a metamorphose perfectly.
The Yttria Stabilized Zirconia has an excellent ion conductivity and then, is used for the material of Fuel Cell and Oxygen Sensor. For other applications, the Blades like a cutter and a knife, capstan and the parts of watch. And also, recently, the demand as the dental treatment like a false tooth and bridge is increasing.
